"Jo has also worked with me on a one-to-one level. I needed to work on myself and what a new relationship meant for me. I was suffering from anxiety and low self-worth. Jo's knowledge and experience in this area have taught me to think differently and put into practice things that change me and my relationships for the better. Jo is highly knowledgeable about relationships and advising on how to evolve them into the best relationship you can have, whether it is with yourself, your partner, children, parents, work colleagues, or anyone in your life. Her professionalism, attitude and extreme knowledge of human interactions and relationships mean that the advice and behaviour therapy work. I respect and trust her confidentiality implicitly." ~Caroline~
"I started seeing Jo a few months before a really difficult time in my life and was so grateful to have her support. I truly attribute this profound sense of self-worth and love for myself to my sessions with Jo. I am mentally stronger, more resilient and kinder to myself than ever. I would recommend Jo to anyone struggling with self-value and worth, trauma or those wanting to become stronger and better themselves. From seeing Jo, I now know that the more I love myself, the easier life is and the more worthy I feel to heal." ~Laura~
"I met Jo at a Women's Global Empowerment Conference in Auckland. Jo's carefree and charismatic personality was what initially drew me to her. Still, as I got to know her better, I really benefited from her little gems and insights from a different perspective. She is a great listener, despite being able to chat faster than anyone I know. She's got great intuition to steer a conversation in a certain direction without being too invasive and is clear in her thoughts. After sessions with Jo, I gained a lot more clarity around situations I wasn't sure about and felt more confident in my decisions. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for direction, change, a different perspective on a situation or just a boost of energy to push you forward in the right direction." ~Alice~
"I worked with Jo through a difficult time in my life. Jo taught me coping mechanisms and a new way of thinking, which applied to all aspects of life. Through working with Jo, my whole thought process changed. The tools she taught me enabled me to deal with anything life throws at me. They are skills for life. I will always cherish and appreciate what Jo has done for me and my mental health. A truly wonderful experience that I highly recommend." ~Jess~
"Jo, an angel. A literal angel."
"I felt like a broken loop for so long, and I didn't want to live. My mind was messy, a knot of self-loathing, self-sabotaging and constantly hating myself and everything about me. I didn't pursue the things I wanted to because of the nasty voice attached to my subconscious thinking, beating me down until I couldn't get up. Or so I thought….
Jo, a person since as soon as I met, was someone I aspired to be like. Her aura is so enticing, radiating self-love, confidence and kindness. I decided this was what I wanted for myself.
As I sat down with Jo, we talked about how I want more than anything to love myself. "then today is your decision to love yourself", and "it's only YOU who can truly do this for yourself" two simple, yet so meaningful sentences that stuck with me.
Everything I do is my decision, whether I like it or not. I'm the one who will have to learn to love myself. as I became used to hating everything about myself, not wanting to be here and so on. Changing my thought process takes work and commitment. Jo guided me through simple weekly steps, such as over-the-top self-loving, positive affirmations, and things I HATED doing in the past. It made me cringe, talking to myself nicely.
Jo explained in various ways how this method works. Uncomfortable as it was, I needed out of the self-hatred loop. So I sucked it up and cringed A LOT, but I did it. After a short time, I felt my mood pick up. I was beginning to look in the mirror and not feel like I was about to cry. I started to ask myself…is this how simple it is?
As I went out of my comfort zone, using Jo's methods, I started to see more positive changes. I felt more confident talking to people; I ate slightly better and slept better. I wasn't up late being nasty to myself.
More and more, I could feel more love from myself. Knowing you have your own back is the most empowering feeling. I am becoming MYSELF authentically.
I have the tools for maintaining self-love and feel the freest I have ever felt. I've escaped the loop; now I can do whatever the hell I want to do. I love me. I couldn't have done it without you, Jo." ~Z~ aged 17
